Your one-month learning plan

A milestone
every week.

Each week has five teaching days: 10 guided hours and 5 hours of independent practice. The last week includes project review and the final demonstration.

  • Cloud service models and use cases

  • Account access, budgets and lab boundaries

Identity and storage

  • Users, roles and least privilege
  • S3 objects and bucket access
  • Encryption and versioning concepts
  • Run a guided storage exercise

Compute and operations

  • Compare virtual machines and functions
  • Run a simple supplied Lambda function
  • Inspect CloudWatch logs
  • Understand network and backup basics

Design and demonstrate

  • Connect the capstone components
  • Estimate usage with stated assumptions

Your final project

Serverless workshop file summary

In a managed sandbox, invoke a small supplied Lambda function that reads a synthetic workshop file from S3 and logs a summary. Students configure the limited access, test the flow and document cleanup. Arrange the sandbox before scheduling hands-on delivery.

How learning is assessed

Architecture and access exercises, supervised lab evidence, cost reasoning, and an individual explanation of the final cloud flow.

Students should explain their own decisions, show their work and document limitations. Any certificate conditions are agreed with the college before the batch begins.
