Each week has five teaching days: 10 guided hours and 5 hours of independent practice. The last week includes project review and the final demonstration.

Programming foundations

Practical automation

  • Clean inconsistent records
  • Process CSV and JSON
  • Handle missing files and invalid input

Build and present

  • Define capstone input and output
  • Generate summary reports
  • Review code and edge cases

A working report generator with sample data, checks and setup instructions.

Your final project

College event registration report generator

Use synthetic registration files to remove duplicate entries, flag missing fields and export event-wise counts. Include sample inputs and explain how incorrect data is handled.

How learning is assessed

Weekly scripts and checks, an independently completed change request, and a capstone demonstration with an individual explanation.

Students should explain their own decisions, show their work and document limitations. Any certificate conditions are agreed with the college before the batch begins.
