How do we engage — fixed scope or ongoing?
Both. Most clients start with a fixed-scope sprint — research through tested prototype in 4–6 weeks — then move to a monthly retainer for ongoing design. Retainers get a dedicated designer, weekly reviews, and priority turnaround. No lock-in either way; retainers run month to month.
How long until we see actual designs?
First clickable prototype in two weeks — that's a hard internal rule. A full engagement — research, prototyping, testing, final UI, and design system — typically runs 6–10 weeks depending on product surface area. We share work-in-progress in a live Figma file from day one, so there are no big reveals and no surprises.
Who owns the design files?
You do, fully, from day one. All Figma files, research recordings, prototypes, and the design system live in your workspace — we work inside it. If we part ways tomorrow, you keep everything, including editable source files. No licensing games, no hostage fees.
Is a fixed design quote actually fixed?
Yes — you get a number before we start, and it doesn't move unless the scope does. Retainers are a flat monthly fee tied to set weekly capacity. Our rates land well below metro agencies for the same senior output. Ask for a quote; we respond within a day.
